Pioneer Elite SC-25 how is it?

Hey all..I have a chance to purchase a used,but in perfect condition Elite SC-25 for $650.00..What do you think? The guy asked for 750.00 but i said no,but i just received another email saying he would take 650.00,the seller is in the next town next to mine,so i will be able to check it out 1st before purchase..What are your opions? Well the 25 retailed for $1800 so price wise that's pretty good. But, will it suit your needs now and in the future? Don't think there is 3D support, among other things. But its a good receiver. I own an VSX-03TXH and it sound great.

Im not into the 3d stuff..and from what ive read,is the SC-25 has the ICE Amps that produce the TRUE 140 WPC clean..Is that true?

All of the ICEpower Elites put out the specified power with all channels driven. They are very efficient with loads of headroom. They also have a more refined sound over the non-Elites. That's an excellent receiver and not a bad price at all.

I will agree with lojack on this. The price is great for mint condition.

You should def. consider it - I love my 25! The internet radio/rhapsody is cool, too. It sounds amazing, is not that hard to set up, and oh yeah - IT SOUNDS AMAZING!

Well i bought the Pioneer Elite SC-25 for $620.00 cash,and its mint condition,came with everything included in the box..im in love..lol ..It does sound GREAT! you can hear the Sound quality from this thing,its a beast ..My Polk Rti10 sound soo much better now..Like a whole different speaker..This AVR is taken me sometime to learn,it just has so many different options ,its nuts..
Ill take some pics of my new set-up .. and post..

Be sure to check out the thread dedicated to the 25/27 on this site, also feel free to pm me with any questions. There are a lot of tweaks, but it really isn't that hard.

Enjoy your system. I bought mine back in Christmas Day of 09' for a great sale price of $999 at Best Buy. So glad I caught that deal, but anyway I'm am still loving it to this day and it is one of the best mid range receiver I've ever owned.
