Guys, do you always go to the same barber?

I've always been going to the same barber close to where I live. A couple of bad experiences in the past with other barbers is what made me very uneasy about trusting other people with my hair. But lately, due to me working late everyday at work and being busy on weekends, I sometimes don't have the time and patience to make a dedicated trip to the barber. He's already closed by the time I get home on weekdays and on weekends, he's always crowded, so I have to wait a long time. And since my hair grows fast, I require haircuts ever three weeks and putting up with this every third weekend is big hassle. Some of my co-workers have the same issue, but since they're not that particular with their hair like I am, they just go to any nearby barbershop close to work. They go either on their lunch break or right after work.

I was thinking of doing what some of my co-workers do. It may be a bit more expensive since I work in Manhattan, but I guess it would save the time and frustration of having to go to my barbershop on a Saturday and Sunday morning and wait a half hour or so to get a haircut. But it's just so hard for me to trust other people.

So, I want to hear what everyone else here does? Tell me... do you go to the same barber every time or do you just go to wherever it's convenient for you? If you do the latter, then do you ever end up getting a real bad haircut sometimes?
