Additional data about the release:

- Fortune Star lied about giving the original mono audio, so Irongod is looking for a high quality version of the original mono mix

- The 5.1 mix has dropout on some players and is part of the track itself(?) so that's being looked into

- The colour grading isn't that good. The company (L'Immagine Ritrovata) is notorious for incorrect colour grading on their scans of older films; this is who Fortune Star used for their scans, and so far, Eureka can't touch the 4K master they made.

You'll have no regrets. Supercop is really good - that train stunt is off the goddamned rails - but 1 and 2 are so much better!

It’s currently £29.99 on Amazon UK, but I think there’s a chance it’ll drop to £24.99.

Considering they’re in individual cases, I’d imagine they’ll get standalone releases once this set sells out.

According to what I read on their facebook posting, someone asking "Will these still be available when the boxset runs out?". They said "They potentially will be! Nothing concrete yet though"

So if you really want the first one, you might want to consider buying the set and flipping it.

I'm kinda worried about these "Restored Cantonese 5.1 audio presentations"

What does it mean? New 5.1 mixes with the orginal filmelements? Or one of these horrible, chaotic upmixes with new sound and gunshot effects?

Since Part One does come with the orignal mono soundtrack, i will buy it anyway. But i would really like to know what to expect from these 5.1 mixes.

I also have correct remastered English subtitles to go with it.
