If the UK is getting this in March I'm expecting us to get it in June or July.

Seems fitting, since we're due to get Hartnell Season 2 in late March. Not sure if these delays in the US are simply manufactured or if it has to do with the 50 to 60 HZ conversion these have to go through for a US release.

Excited about this one (Actually I get excited about all Classic Who releases)! I really enjoy Day of the Daleks!

Bring 'em on. Love everything up through the Tom Baker years. I just wish I could rest assured we'll get them ALL before I die of old age.

I mean, you'd think that that wasn't a big deal nowadays when I import the Animation BDs from the UK and they look and sound perfectly fine on my PS4 and my flatscreen TV.

Curse of Peladon is on there, giving us the first appearance of the big green dick monsters on Blu.

They don't see Alpha Centauri agqin until Sarah Jane comes along in Pertwee's final season, I believe, and that's probably still a bit away.

Nice the 3rd Volume released for for the Pertwee Era, keep them coming! I had hope for Season 7, but all is good. Will pick this and the Hartnell set up when the price drops below $40. Probably some time in summer. Great year now for old Who and New Who coming soon!

Sadly no new optional updated special effects aside from the previously released special edition for Day of the Daleks. That's two sets in a row now since Season 2 didn't get any either.

For me it's get them all AND then have enough time to watch the entire run before I die of old age.

But on the other hand, we get Classic Who's first ever Atmos remix.

Most newer Blu-ray players (PS4 included, apparently) can convert region free 50 Hz discs to 60 Hz, but 50 Hz isn't accepted by every North American/"NTSC region" Blu-ray player or TV, so they have to convert it to 60 Hz for full Region A compatibility.

Why 60 Hz is fully compatible throughout the entire world (in the post-analog/SD age) while 50 Hz isn't completely boggles the mind...

Dude, did the Sontaran Stratagem teach you NOTHING! Having Atmos is a BAD thing!

If nothing else was released except Pertwee, I’d be ok with that. Bearing in mind I have all the box sets currently released and even the animated standalones.

Another Pertwee set? Poor Davison must be the least favorite Doctor out there. There hasn't been a Davison season released since 2018.

From my understanding, part of it is that COVID restrictions were preventing Strickson from being able to participate in their standard extras with the cast. They've been holding off until he could travel back to the UK.

Okay, that makes sense, but Covid was three years ago... Surely they've recorded their extras by now, right?

And if not, honestly, they should just go ahead and give us at least the final season without him. I can deal with not having Strickson on the bonus features as I'm really buying the show for the show itself. The bonus features are just that, bonuses.

Whomours have been floating around for a bit that Mark and everyone were spotted in Amsterdam, likely filming extras for a Season 20 set. Which got everyone CONVINCED that S20 would be after S2, but then S9 kinda came outta nowhere. So S20, next one FOR SURE! Or maybe S6 and we get a telesanp for The Space Pirates.

I was wondering when they would get back around to Pertwee again. This was a nice surprise as he is my favorite Doctor.

I have no idea who they’re price matching but the preorder price is currently $43.62 on Amazon.
