Anyone from the Uk brought a tv from John lewis ? How does there 5 year garantee work ? If the worst happens like blu ray-fanatic smashed his/her tv with mobile phone will i get another one in exchange ?

You actually want to know if a warranty will cover someone smashing the TV with a mobile phone? My friend, if that is what you are worried about, you have far bigger problems than what the warranty will or won't cover.
