Talking 80's Cheese Fest!

A friend is having a Cheese Fest at his home this week end, and I've been asked to bring a couple DVD's. Out of these films, which two would you bring?

Krull
Deathstalker
Hawk The Slayer
Beastmaster
Dragonslayer
The Sword and the Sorcerer

The Killer Tomatoes 2. The one with George C..
It's hysterically funny and the ultimate 80's cheese fest, but very self aware.

I have never seen KT 1, but Nr.2 was terrific.

Love both of those, but this is a "Sword & Sorcery" fest.

I'm kind of partial to Hawk The Slayer, I haven't watched it since I bought it. Also have Excalibur, but don't know if that is cheesy enough.

DRAGONSLAYER I think is a very good film and I would reccomend it above all the others but I don't consider it "cheesy"

Beastmaster is the epitome of cheese. I'd throw in Krull as a follow-up.

What...in the WORLD...are "Krull" and "Dragonslayer" doing on a list of 80's Fantasy "cheese"?
When they should be on the short list of "Immortally iconic GREAT Summer of 80's Fantasy", along with Clash of the Titans and Neverending Story?

(Let me guess--You thought they were "goofy" because they were 80's and they were fantasy, right?
Oh, they were fantasy, all right, and they came out in the 80's...But they sure as heck weren't "Sword & the Sorcerer".
Studios spent money back then, and not every fantasy was low-budget in those days. Don't forget, "cheese" can still be a gourmet item--If those two're better than you thought they were, don't say I didn't warn ya. )

Well both had plenty of swords, and both had sorcerers/wizards/magic users so...

And as you said there is such a thing as gourmet cheese. But it is still cheese nonetheless. Albeit very tasty cheese.
