Having problems pausing Blu-rays on PS3

yes, as the title says.

I can pause blu rays, thank god for that, don't have to watch it all without breaks.
But some of the disc can't start again.
When i press start on the controller the disc starts hacking. I don't think there is any update for this. I actually have to reboot my PS3 and take the disc out and put it back in to watch the rest of the movie. But this is only some of my movies!

i have a slim 120 GB.

Do you guys think there anything wrong with my PS3?

Just hope that there isen`t a problem with your BR drive , my FAT 80G drive died after the 3.00 update and sony asked 150$ just to change the drive because of there mistake ( the disc`s would spin way to fast and burned the drive ) .
