'The Barber' - does it have forced French subtitles? - Blu-ray Forum

The Barber (aka The Man Who Wasn't There) has just been released in France. Can anyone confirm whether the French subtitles are forced or optional?

Any comments on the technical quality would also be appreciated.

Hi Bruce,

I did not see your post earlier. The BAC disc has forced French subs. Avoid.

I think Bruce is referring to the new release of that title. My guess is that now the subs may not be forced anymore.

Yes, I'm referring to the one that was released on January 3rd. (Actually I wasn't aware that there had been an earlier one.)

still edited by BAC films, so probably just a reprint with a slightly different cover.
