Default Breaking Amish

Anyone watch this? I caught some of it the other night. Young "Amish" people brought to New York City to experience life away from their farms and the simple life.

The problem is these so-called Amish people talk like anyone I would meet on the street. They didn't seem too confused with all of the technology that they encountered. It just screamed "fake".

More "reality" TV.

i remember reading years ago that every year the Amish counsel for each "village" (or whatever technical term they use) vote in what new technology should be allowed in. the key part though, is that the technology has to be like 10 years old or something, so in like 2009 is when they first decided if DVD players were okay to have

but i agree, the show is just a bunch of regular people in Amish clothes who pretend to be Amish. because, in all seriousness, who is gonna know the difference? AMISH PEOPLE ARE WATCHING THE DAMN SHOW! so it's not like they call up newspapers and say, "hey, yeah... that's not real"

Google this show and you will find out its staged. TLC even admits it. Its still entertaining to me and I will be still be watching it.
Rebecca & Abe are dating for the first time on the show, yet they are all ready married with a child. There is a lot of other info as to why the show is fake
