Default Disney IronPacks

So there's been just a few releases in the last year...but nothing else has been announced. Does anyone have an idea if Disney still intends on releasing IronPacks for future releases or perhaps older ones? I've held out on purchasing titles like Fantasia in hopes they would be released in an IronPack.

We may see some in the fall, like they did before. That is why I am holding off on titles like Tangled and The Incredibles.

Who knows what they are going to do. The last few releases was a lunch box or a plush toy.

But if they are announced later this year. I'll get them

One would think they would continue to do new releases in Ironpack though as they were doing with IP and Steelbooks before that.

Weren't the main non-pre order ones all back catalogs of ones released on Blu-Ray already?

I believe they were. I'm hoping they re-release them again in IP or steelbook.

Why would you want that? It's not like they are expensive or difficult to get?

The truth is that people are still ordering these new from Best Buy. Future Shop also still has stock of almost all five titles from 2010. I wouldn't classify these at 'hot sellers', which means this Fall, they may issue the same, or maybe fewer.

I would much rather they produce five new SteelBooks/IronPacks than re-issue five old ones.

SNOW WHITE and PINOCCHIO are also going back into the vault, so there won't be any re-issues for those this year, either.

I think he means recent releases since last fall that have not had IP releases. Incredibles, Bambi, Tron, Tron Legacy, Tangled off the top of my head.

Fantasia is returning to the vault at the end of this month, so I suggest you buy it now.

A lot of the disney steelbooks from bestbuy.com will ship out despite saying they're out of stock. But make sure you keep it a secret
