Default Was the 80s show Superboy any good?

Was it like Smallville or was it completely different?

Well it was only. one of these.Half hour series. so did not leave much plot wise. Did not look like it was shot on film. always looked poor quality. The rest is a blur.

To quote MST3K, "The CRUMMIEST show ever to run in first-run syndication!"

(And considering that the 80's were a gold rush for crummy first-run syndicated series done on the cheap, that's an achievement. Simply put, this was what we were watching before Cable came along.
If you want to compare it it to a DC franchise, try Sheena and Swamp Thing.)
