SPL Speaker Calibration Question

I posted this question to the sticky at the top of this page but I'm not sure how much traffic that is getting any longer as the thread is very large. Anyway...

I was wanting to level out my speakers using an SPL meter as per the instructions in the sticky.

I downloaded my tones from here: http://www.realtraps.com/test-cd.htm and I am wanting to use just the pink noise file to level out all my speakers to 75dbs.

I know I want to run Audyssey FIRST before I do anything else so that the AVR auto calibration can do its thing. However, after I do that and I want to begin playing the pink noise file for individual speaker calibration, won't I have to physically disconnect every speaker but the one I am testing? So, for example, if I want to start with the left front speaker I'll need to disconnect the other 5 (including LFE) so that I can get a reading on just that ONE speaker?

Then I'll move onto the Center, left right, etc... Just want to make sure I am doing this properly. There might even be a way to disable the speakers from the GUI of the AVR so I guess I could do that instead of physically disconnected the wire from the back.

Does this sound correct?
