anyone, like me, want to see this on Blu-Ray? (Disney)

also the Darjeeling Limited is in theaters now and its a FOX production.

hell yeah i would love to see all of wes anderson's movies on Blu, the soundtrack to the life aquatic would be steller!

Hmm at first thought it doesn't sound like a must but when you think about everything in his films it would be pretty damn good to be on Blu-Ray. Rushmore dammit!

I was under the impression, and I could be wrong, that Anderson had some kind of exclusivity to release on Criterion regardless of what studio released the film.

I believe the "contract", if I may call it so, was with his Touchstone released movies, so Darjeeling is left out of the Criterion Collection, most likely. Now with the newly introduced Criterion Blu-Ray, I am pretty confident that we'll get to see Wes' movies (Bottle Rocket is in their first BR batch), which will be breathtaking, I'm sure of it.

Can't wait for Bottle Rocket, but Rushmore and The Life Aquatic are must-haves too!

That's the order that I like his movies. I thought Ben Stiller was fantastic in Royal Tenenbaums and that it was a really good performance of a man who lost his wife, and was now so overprotective of his children out of fear that he'd lose them as well.

Great role.

I really really really do hope that they put "Life Aquatic" on Blu. That is one of my favorite movies of all time. The humor is hard to get the first watch but after a second or third watch it's better. I can watch that movie every week lol.

I like this movie, but my nephew just loves it. He has seen it more than 10 times, so I gave him my DVD copy. Time for the Blu.

Those + Life Aquatic are the films of his I really like. To me, Royal Tenenbaums is Wes Anderson's masterpiece.

Lol it is all in taste of course. The humor is just dark and depressing. I think you are in the majority though, I don't think Wes Anderson's movies do well in the box office (not positive).
