Default PSN Question!

Hello

This is my first time using the psn so I'm wondering if I bought a game (let's say a PSOne game or something like Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection which works on the PS3 and PSP)

will I be able to play that game on my ps3 AND psp (and eventually PSVita) or will I have to determine the console when I download the game?!

Thank you

If it's a Mini or PSOne game you can play it on either or. Obviously you have to download it onto both somehow (it can be copied to your PSP by connecting it to your PS3 though).

Rike is right, and to add to that, you can also transfer your game save as well, so you can play the same playthrough on either system.

The description of each game should tell you what it's compatible with.

Nearly all PSone and minis games work with PSP, PS3 and PSVITA.

More technically demanding games need a different version made for each specific console so compatibility's on a game-by-game basis.

Thanks for the answers, I'm glad that I can just transfer the games between the ps3/psp! it's really cool

yeah, but my question was, if I downloaded a game once from the psn, can I use it on more than one compatible device? and apparently I can

If you buy it once, you can go back and d/load it as many times as you like. So, you can d/load it to as many devices as will play it.
