I bought it in the store. Their website never has the same price as the physical store. Just like Wal-Mart.

Carlito's Way (1993) is an amazing film, though unfortunately very underrated. I liked how the story moved along, and the film had many great scenes - one of my favorites was when Carlito removed the ammo from his sleazy lawyer's (Sean Penn's) gun, and later threw them in the trash can, in slo-mo - Brilliant!

The battle in the subway station (at the end of the movie) was also incredible. IMHO, it may have been partially inspired by the battle in the subway station in De Palma's The Untouchables (1987).

I found this film superior to Scarface (the other De Palma/Pacino film), though I will admit Scarface is more iconic.

Interesting note about the train station/subway scenes in The Untouchables and Carlito's Way. The train station shoot-out scene in The Untouchables was originally supposed to take place on a train and also involve a chase. Budget/time reasons led to the shoot-out in the train station stairs. The end chase scene in Carlito's Way was going to be done at the World Trade Center, but plans changed when the first terrorist attack happened in 1993.

The Potemkin scene on the stairs worked out just fine
