I would bet, that they get the same video transfer as the asian BDs and they seem to have english sub.

Why does everyone seem to throw a fit when there's no English subs on a German release? It's surprising that these got English audio, but if it's a German Blu-ray, don't expect English subs because this isn't meant for sale in an English language market. These releases are marketed towards German speaking people.

Yeah thats always funny how people are crying for english friendly releases in foreign markets. I have to admit: I like it if original language is avaible, and it got good subtitling in my language, and I am happy IF german releases get english subs, too, but: German releases are considered to be released in Germany. I am just part of a not so big number of people loving watching a movie in original language with subtitles. And also a smaller number of people also like watching foreign films in the original language with english subtitles.
I also could ask: why are so few US BDs german friendly, with german audio and subtitling?

Edit:
btw: I am more surprised that these releases even seem to get english audio, because afaik the original BDs from Asia not even got this.

To the part in bold. I agree with that. When I was living in Germany, none of the movies in the Kino had German subs. It was either dubbed or it was an OV mit kein untertitel. Everything on TV except for like shows on MTV and VIVA were dubbed over in German. Those shows on MTV and VIVA that were in English but had German subs kept me from going crazy when I moved out there in 2003 since I didn't know a word of German at the time. Now, several years later, I know the language somewhat as well as French. I have a few titles on Blu-ray that I am happy with.

I already have the Warner Enter the Dragon and the HK Blus of The Big Boss. Fist of Fury and Way of the Dragon but I will pick up Game of Death for sure.

I might even grab The Big Boss because the English dub on that is fun and it is the way I first saw that movie anyway. I borrowed the VHS from a friend many years ago and it was the dubbed version.....played that tape till it was blank...

Still these infos are just prerelease infos. It still might be that these moves even don't contain english dub, and there is just some misinformation at this time.

Game of Death II is on Blu-ray in Japan. I believe it's called Tower of Death, but I could be wrong.

Maybe its just misinformation. It's quite uncommon, that asia movies get english dub on german discs.
Maybe it will be an international/european release, but then it could contain english subs. Maybe its just to early to see all content, because it just got partially announced, yet.

Hello, I'm from Germany and can confirm, the German BDs will have English Dub, but not English Sub. There will use the HK Masters and Cantonese HD-Master Audio 7.1 Sound (German and Englisch Dub will be DTS 2.0). Greetings and sorry for my bad English.

Got mine today and can confirm all of them other than game of death contain:

german 2ch
english 2ch
chinese 7.1ch

game of death only has 2ch german and 7.1ch english!

they all contain only german subtitles. The picture quality is pretty good, I am 99.9% sure they have used the same masters as the asian releases! Big Boss is the best of the lot in terms of picture quality!

I can confirm, that the 4 german BDs contain the exactly same video master as the HK BDs. They are not altered in any way.
Here is a comparison between german BD and UK DVD of Fist of Fury.
