United Kingdom PlanetAxel Question

Hi

Ordered two Criterion Chaplin BD's yesterday, both showing 'In Stock' one is showing now as 'pending' the other as 'verifying stock in LA warehouse'

as these are back catalogue stock items (not pre-orders) I was wondering if anybody else had experienced a delay like this? and when could I expect them to ship?

Probably not much help as I haven't used PlanetAxel, but I did use DVDWorldUSA the other week and my order was on "Pending" for about 2-4 days (I ordered over a weekend) before it changed to Dispatched. I think its maybe just their way of doing things instead of the "processing" and "packing" you get at places like Play.

Hopefully someone who has used them can help you out

they will delay your order for as long as they can.
since they already have your money.
once my order was delayed 15 days and they kept saying sorry through the status
and the item was still showing as IN STOCK! They didnt even bother to change the status for other potential buyers

have had nothing but good experiences with axelmusic (planetaxel) they are a bit pricey.. they usually ship a week or so prior to street date for new releases...

I've found Axel to be the best when importing US/Canadian titles and want to guarantee no customs charges (they ship within the UK).

Ordered from them many times and they keep you updated with every bit of info you'll ever need. I find their service to be exceptional.

agree 100%

they have had a issue with the new york warehouse so orders got delayed but that is the only problem i ever had in 4 years

customer service is excellent

just give them a email if your concerned. if your status says checking stock at warehouse it means it will be shipped in 24 hours.

I also ordered a title this last Saturday which was in stock, but it still says "Order registered".

I have used PlanetAxel before many times and can also confirm that their service is great. Maybe it's just some temporary delay in their system for some reason.

Bit pricey but can see how they'd be useful.

after Axelmusic was sold to a perfumes company, they changed a lot of their ways.
including customer service.

Blubastard is a great site (free shipping, yay!) but once in a while things seem to go haywire for them: I ordered "Batman: Under The Red Hood" on June 30th and JUST TODAY have they begun "preparing it"... I did get a £3 voucher as an apology, but it's still incredibly annoying having to wait a almost month in order to get a Blu Ray. Also you can wait a up to a weeks time before they respond to your email!

Axelmusic is also great, in fact very great! Great customer service, great packaging, it's all good but in the end i tend to use whoever's cheaper...

My most recent order with axel was on 8th July 2011. One item was in stock, one was 0-3 days availability. I had them shipped in one package so I had to wait for second BD to come into stock.

My items shipped on the 11th July and I recieved them on 15th July. I will definitely use them again but only as long as they are cheaper than amazon.ca

I've just got an e-mail from PlanetAxel that my order has been completed and shipped. I hope yours will be too very soon if it hasn't already!
