Default Real World/Road Rules/Challenge coming to Paramount+

The Real World Homecoming: New York - original cast reunited - 3/4/21

Quote:
A reboot of the classic MTV reality competition Road Rules will introduce viewers to a new roster of “Road Warriors.” Per the synopsis, “these strangers will be abandoned in a far-flung location and stripped of their modern-day luxuries by boarding a restricted life in an RV, traveling from location to location. They will be guided by a set of clues, odd jobs, and missions for money. If they last to the end of the trip, they walk away with the life changing prize.”

Quote:
MTV fans can also get pumped for The Challenge: All Stars, which will bring back the “most iconic, boldest, and fiercest Challenge all stars from the original Real World and Road Rules” for a second chance at glory — and a $500,000 grand prize.

I’ll give it a shot, but what I’d really like is for them to have the entire library of The Real World and Road Rules. Every season, every episode.

It’s a Bunim-Murray production and the shows feature a ton of music, so maybe it’s too costly. Just edit the music out if you have to. Those were some of my favorite shows growing up and I used to love it when MTV would run marathons of the older seasons that I was too young to watch when it originally aired.

I'd like to see both Real World and Road Rules also MTV's Spring Break programming.

I would love to hear about all the behind the scenes shenanigans that went on at the Spring Break coverage. I do remember hearing Dr Dre and Ed Lover talking about Jean Claude van Damme making an appearance there and banging some broad in a car right after extolling the virtues of being newly married on the air.

I remember seeing an MTV True Life: I'm on Spring Break when I was a kid and thinking man this looks so fun then I finally come of age to join in on the shenanigans and it gets canceled forever.

I have the first season DVD, and that's precisely what they did. The music is gone.

If somehow the entire catalog of Real World and Road Rules programs made it to Paramount+ with the music unchanged or even relatively unchanged I would actually subscribe.

The reason I have Disney+ is, frankly, because it's the only way to view so many of their original movies and shows, including So Weird, which may be one of the all-time underrated Disney programs out there.

Yes it is jarring to see. From what I understand, Eric doesn't make it back into the loft and joins them via zoom.

I would like Yo! MTV Raps, every MTV indent from the first 15 years or so, and every episode of Beavis & Butthole with the original music videos included

Homecoming has been interesting to see the changes in all of them. Especially Eric and Becky, Eric seems to be some kind of spiritualty guru and Becky lives in Taos and spouts new age bs.

Final trailer for All Stars

I got Aneesa and Mark winning All Stars! Hope its a good season and we get few more peeps for season 2, like Evelyn. TJ mentioned something along the lines that the daily challenges were hard even tho he thought they would go a little easy since the cast is older. Cant wait tomwatch the new season and kind of surprised it will run concurrently with Double Agents.

They really need to add all the seaons of The Challenge and include the new seasons with the shows being available next day.

I know Mark mentioned they wanted to rotate cast, Evelyn expressed interest.
If there is a season 2, Eric Nies wants to do it

And of course there will be some other familiar faces. Looking forward to this as the newer seasons of the show have been pretty meh.

Nice, hope to see more return then. Maybe Coral, Abram, Landon can come back. I know it wont happen cause of WWE but itd be awesome to see The Miz show up and compete in this again.

yea, i was wondering why they dont have every season on available on paramount... anyone have any idea why that is? Survivor has every season, so no idea why the challenge doesnt....
