The little brother showed me this short series and I actually liked it a lot, would like to import it for more personal views later. I'm in the USA so not too sure if it's compatible with the player over here. Did a little Googling but didn't find a lot, anyone with any info?

I did a little looking around and it seems most BBC blu's are region free, and according to this list (select studio in the drop down menu) -

All the 2 Entertain Video releases are region free, but some are noted as 50hz, I dont know what that means for you but as you said its a very intriguing little series from the looks of it (i only caught half an episode) so i may pick this up myself at some point.

There is another good series called Engineering Connections, you can currently catch these free online via the bbc website using bbciplayer.

Just went to local Fry’s Electronic Store to try. Did NOT work on Panasonic and Sony brand BD players. But works fine on Samsung and Sharp brand BD players.

So I guess that a PS3 wouldn't play it either?
