Muppet Show complete seasons

I would love to see Every season of the muppet show out on blu ray...but first they have to finally get the last two seasons on regular dvd which i could have sworn season 4 was gonna be released last year but never did

Seriously, but I'm not holding my breath. Actually, I'm so not holding my breath that I have full intentions of buying the seasons that are out on DVD.

I mean, I hate buying DVDs.

It's all standard def stuff shot on videotape, isn't it? I just don't see it ever coming to blu-ray since it'll never be HD.

Yeah, I believe it was shot on videotape. I still thought the DVDs looked very good, if you compare it to other shows from the same era also shot on videotape. Maybe they could put each season on a single disc, but I doubt it. I would rather see Disney putting this on DVD correctly, with all the music numbers reinstated, than wasting their time with a Blu-ray release.
