I'll be keeping an eye on this one, as I passed on the Lionsgate release. Not the worst transfer but it seemed a bit smoothed over, hoping Fox can do better.

Right. So based on Fabulous Films' current record, we should expect this to be 1080i and DNR'd to shit.

Have they actually released much?

Only release I can think of by them is the Smurfs one.

That's a list of everything they've released. None of them get good reviews, I remember when someone who claimed to work for Fabulous Films threw a tantrum over the criticism that the Airwolf Blu-ray was getting. The Smurfs and the Magic Flute is perhaps an exception. Perhaps it's because there was no earlier DVD release for the film to compare it to, only a 1985 VHS, but I think the Blu does have a good transfer.

Is it any better/worse than the US release?
