i feel left out "PS3 movie deal" - Blu-ray Forum

i got my PS3 back wean there was no movie deal still have the box some time i think about trying to get a receipt to get the free movies is that bad?
i suport blu-ray have 10 movies but i kind of feal riped off at time payed full price and got no goodys oh well needed to vent after seeing there doing the 5 free once more this some i like to have

hey I am in the same boat, I got mine back in December and paid 1000.00 for everything I got. No freebies.............but thats how it is, if the PS3 had sold as well as the Wii, there would be no deal like that, Its just a way to boost player sales and get people hooked on blu-ray.
This happens with any item....slower selling cars get rebates,financing incentives......just the way to keep goods moving.
I would love to get the free movies, but unfortunately I already have all those

same, i have 25 (plus 2 on the way) but since Quebec is locked out of the ps3 5 bd promo i got jipped outta 5 free bds

I'm in the same boat, but I justify it by saying yeah it hurts, but it if get more people to buy Blu, then my investment in blu will be secure, and it gives me 2X the reason to wanting Blu-ray to win, yes for the security but the other thing to stick it in the face of the HD-DVD users, make them feel worse not only did they lose the war but they'll never hear the end of it...

that's how I'm ok with the fact I didn't get in on that deal :P

to be honest, i would much rather ps3 make more bundle packs that include a movie of choice (of a list of a few) rather than just give one (like with talladega nights).

I know it wasn't 5 free movies, but I thought the PS3 had $10 Off rebates for 5 movies when it first came out. At least I receive the Booklet when I bought my PS3 in January.

i got mine 18 december. was japanese version, did not get anything. but on march, i registered my UK psn account and received casino royale.
Bought another one (this time UK version), and don't get any movies either
