I don't understand can harry not afford a bluray player? Just cause he got a deal on a hddvd player his whole site now only reviews hddvds. He's not being very fair it feels like he is shitting on the blu fans.

RETURN TO HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (Unrated) HD DVD

This is one of the great curiosities of the week for me. I don’t have this yet, but apparently – exclusively to HD-DVD this film becomes a “Choose your own Horror film” where at several different points in the movie – the film will ask you to decide what a character should or should not do – and depending on your choice, the film heads in a different direction and deaths are different and the story changes. I love hokey shit like this. The gore effects will probably be pretty good – but it’s a DARK CASTLE film which is a reason to rent – but to fully explore your options here – it might be worth owning and having be a “party” flick that you don’t feel bad for bullshitting during.

I'm pretty sure that Blu-ray Disc has the "Choose your own Horror film" feature too as well. But again, it's Harry we're talking about.

He didn't mention that 'The Invisible' is on Blu-ray, only DVD.

Zarles - Robert never even wrote the missing reel on Planet Terror. It's not only NOT in there, but was never written or filmed. Praetor - Actually if I was on HD DVD's payroll, first thing I'd do would be... BUY A BLU-RAY player and then constantly tell you that watching the Blu-Ray and the HD - that HD owns its ass. Which I don't. I'm on HD DVD, because I had the extra $300 to buy the player. That's it. There's no rate for me. I'm not on the market because if I were on the market, I'd be out of business - and frankly - I'd rather keep AICN going for the rest of my life, rather than some short term bullshit. AND FOR THE RECORD - BLU RAY has out spent HD DVD advertising on my site almost 2 to 1.

Even if poor old Harry was hard up, how much does it cost to tell the truth? Harry lies about Blu-ray and evangelises about HD DVD. I'm sure he's not so dumb to turn away paid advertising, but anyone that still thinks Harry hasn't been 'motivated' to back HD DVD is kidding themselves.
