done & done. as for the amps, i recommend that if you are more than 75% music then go for the XPA-2, if 75% movies, go for the XPA-3 or 5.

if 50/50 then i'd say go for the XPA-3 to get both covered. you definitely want the entire front soundstage to have raw power for movies, also, these days, the surrounds get a lot of use to but they can be powered by the receiver and a sub to pick up the low freq. of course, if you have a really large room then i say go for the XPA-5 especially for movies.

keep us posted with whatever you decide to do.

good job on the gallery!

Thanks Solarrdadd, I appreciate your suggestions. A power amp is definitely my next purchase when funds(Wife) allows! I was actually researching a XPA-2 Gen 2 or XPA-3 Gen 2 can't make my mind up.

gen 2 makes no difference, i was referring to how you wanted to use them. i just didn't want to have to put gen 2 on it.

best of luck. start begging now!

Will do . I watch more movies then music for now(75% movies). Leaning towards the XPA-3 and let the 709 handle the surrounds like you said. I will keep you posted on what I decide on.

You better get use to it. Once you have taken the plunge there is no going back.

Good afternoon.

I see you are thinking about scaring the neighbors with getting a XPA amp.
