Expendables EE cut = upscaled picture quality

I'm so angry. The company who released Expendables extended cut on Blu-ray, ruined the picture quality. It's all SD/upscaled quality.

Here is another experience:

Also habe beide Versionen die Uncut Steelbook und den D.C!
Werde auch beide behalten da jede auf ihre Art genial ist von Story und Action her!
Ton sin beide super und beim D.C sind mir keinerlei Probleme aufgefallen!
Bild ist im Vergleich zur Uncut Version wie wenn man eine Dvd upscaled und ich hatte grad den Vergleich und habe einen Samsung Led 117 und einen Samsung BluRay wo man den Unterschied sofort erkennt!
Das Bild schweine dunkel das einzig positive man kann mim jeweiligen Schwarzwert vom Tv protzen wenn man Lust hat ;-)
die Schärfe ist auch kein Vergleich also echt wie eine DVD!
Ich nahm sie raus und schaute nach ob sich die Verkäuferin geirrt hätte und mir ne DVD in die BluRay Box getan hätte (ist bei Libro so das sie das Medium rausnehmen um so vor Diebstahl zu schützen) aber NEIN es ist eine BluRay Bild 1 Rest 4 macht in Summe 3 Punkte!

Only the German one. The one from US is Region A locked.

Not upscale quality but A LOT OF DNR..

I wouldn't even say it was DNR, look at the grain structure in the shot of Stallone, it's still there. It's like they've simply cut off any detail above a certain frequency.

Wow those screens look shocking.

The UK version is out in June I wonder if it will look this bad?

I already picked up the Steelbook for cheap, so I won't be double diping on the EE since it adds nothing spectacular to the film, according to reviews. So the steelbooks good enough me

Not sure if you're speaking of the longest version of the movie.
But the longest version apparently adds quite a spectacular scene.
We should be wanting that version I guess...

Similar to what happened to The Family Man, in that horizontal resolution is normal but vertical resolution is sub-SD.

Unlikely as it's Lionsgate in the UK like it is in the US, so will probably be identical to the US release.
