USA Lolwut's Framed Posters

I've never framed a movie poster before but I just got a Drive poster and felt compelled to frame it. It inspired me to frame others as well.

Love those DRIVE and LET ME IN posters! The GRINDHOUSE one is pretty incredible, too. Very vintage looking. Great job!

Thanks guys! I would've loved to have used different color frames for some of them, like white for Drive, dark red for Let Me In, red for Grindhouse, gold for There Will Be Blood, but they would've been too expensive. I have more to frame and will post pics when they're finished!

The Grindhouse poster was the domestic final style, actually they only made one poster for the U.S. release and that was it.

Thanks for the info K5. I will have to save up my penny's and get more wall space! I have 4 posters tubbed in the wardrobe, one of which is a Watchmen poster that I wish I had up.

Watchmen had so many images released that people through that were posters, but never were, for the record there were four styles for Watchmen released: two advance styles, one final, and one IMAX exclusive style which is the rarest of the four.

Vertigo and Grindhouse are Trendsetter 24x36, got them from Walmart.com's ship to store for $17.97 each. The rest are Trendsetter 27x40, got them at Michaels with a Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale so they came out to be around $20. Then I found out that Walmart has them for the same price but they're listed as "collage" frames, but really you can just remove the collage mat and put a movie poster in them.

Thanks Grindhouse is 24x36. Those look nice together with the black matte. Lighting them is harder than I thought! I also got to experience the joys of hanging frames today, there was lots of sweating and profanity involved.

I know what it looks like, lotion and tissues by the bed, but the lotion is prescription, honest!

It is this exact poster K5: http://uk.movieposter.com/poster/MPW-41097/Watchmen.html. I take it, that its one of the advanced styles? I did have it framed but replaced it with the Blade Runner poster.

Has anyone used Society6.com ?

I love this drive poster but it would be expensive to ship to the UK.

May well just have to go with allposter. What do people think of lenticular 3D posters, tacky or good looking ?

Thanks! Yeah, it's a brilliant poster. My favorites are Mulholland Drive and There Will Be Blood.

Never ordered from there before, but after seeing that print, I sure will be now!!!

Drive's my new obsession. I wish I could cover everything I own in images from that movie.

Thanks! Same, I've never triple or even quadruple dipped for a film before. Or bought multiple posters for a film.
