United Kingdom A Better Tomorow 2012

They have this in store at Sainsburys at the moment for £8.99. I'm thinking of giving it a blind buy as I'm a fan of the original and action monies in general (if you aren't your dead in side*). Is this worth a shot? does it fair well in the action stakes? It's nice that the disc contains both 3D and 2D versions. Is the disc up to scratch?

*also you may have better taste than me

How is the 3D in this? I'm assuming it's converted. Is it any good?

Is the UK version identical to the US version?

I don't care about the 3D Picture but how is the 2D version?

I bought the supposed 2D version from CEX, for £3.00.
There actually no difference in the 2D/3D release, apart from the cover art. BOTH have the 2D and 3D on them.

Regardless of this, the 2D PQ is awful. You may regard this as hyperbole, but I assure you, the PQ is dire and I can't even describe the problem accurately, as I've never seen it before. Imagine a kind of rippling effect around most edges and very noticeable on clothing, etc. It looks bizarre.

Avoid like hell.
