Been a big fan of blu-ray for a long time, however I have never taken advantage of the full audio capabilities that blu-ray comes with. I currently have my ps3 hooked up to my tv, and my dvd player (Philips HTS3555) hooked up to the TV via RCA? (white/red cables). The sound coming from the speakers sounds really good, however I am wondering with my current set-up is there anyway to experience better sound quality?
In the PS3 display option I have seen DTS, Dolby Digital, and Linear PCM, under the audio option, however I don't know the reason for the change. Also I am looking to upgrade to a receiver when the summer finally hits. I am looking for the best I can get for around 800-900 bucks. -Jaba Last edited by jabawonky; 02-05-2008 at 11:45 PM.
