Thanks OP, but seriously? I think a film should be "retired" from getting the steelbook treatment in the future once Plain Archive releases it.

Considering how well done PA's release was/is and the fact they they still have 1/4 slips in stock tells you that this one is also a very niche title and probably won't sell very well for Zavvi.

I agree Bruiser, I've got both 1/4 and full slip and would never see the need of buying more. PA pretty much capture the ambiance of the movie perfectly I think

For The Wrestler, I can agree with that.
Now ZDT...I wouldn't want my BB steelbook to disappear from existance, just because PA is releasing.
Yeah this will be an easy pass for most folks.

Yeah, I wasn't talking about already existing steelbooks, I just (half-jokingly) meant once PA release a steel, no others should be produced after that.

Now if ZDT was released by PA and then BBY announced one, most wouldn't be very excited about it if they already owned the PA release, which is the case here with The Wrestler.

I have to respectfully disagree with those of you regarding PA's release of The Wrestler. I think the steelbook design for it is awful, mainly due to the title being spread across from the back and the rest of it just looked sloppy to me. As a result, I think Zavvi can improve upon it.

It doesn't matter who does a steelbook first. Plain Archive's will always be better. Case in point, "I Saw The Devil". I already have two versions of ZDT and best believe I'll be pre-ordering PA's.

Nice. Much better than Plain Archive's, in my opinion.

For those looking for a safe, boring, predictable design, this is the one to get.

Hey, I'm all for creative designs, which is why I'm a fan of steelbooks like the UK Cloverfield, PA's I Saw the Devil, and the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy. I simply think this one looks much better than PA's, "boring" or not.

I agree. It's the original poster artwork, the only negative is that the font has been changed.

They've only released two Steelbooks.

Obviously the wow factor of a steelbook is always subjective...PA is still 2 for 2, which would be batting 1.000, which would mean "every".

Hey, people like what they like and that's fine, I'm just saying to me, the two compared are like country mouse and city mouse. One is laid back and plays it safe (Zavvi) while the other goes balls-out and takes chances (PA).

This film is in my top 5 favorite films, and while I like them both, the PA release just works better for me.
