How English-friendly is this release? Forced subs etc? Does anybody have it and can comment on the video/audio?

Any chance of this being released in English territories?

I had no idea this was even available this long! Paid a pretty penny for it from an Amazon Germany marketplace seller and just imported it, but I'm very happy to finally replace my ancient non-anamorphic DVD and not rely on my Vudu stream. The disc plays fine on my Region A players and does not have forced subs (or any subs for that matter). Picture quality is fine and it has LPCM 2.0 English and German tracks. Standard top and popup menus and zero extras.

Six plus years after this post and with Disney owning Fox now, I would imagine the chances of this showing up in the U.S. is probably near zero now.

I persuaded this Danish eBay seller to offer shipping to the U.S. -- he'd been burned before by people not understanding region locking (even though this specific title is region-free). Ended up getting this for $15 including shipping and was very pleasantly surprised by the picture quality. The transfer's great for a 90's movie! Natasha Lyonne gives an excellent performance.

No special features or subtitles in any language.
