Looks like PLAY have started a loyality award scheme

1 superpoint for every £1

100 superpoints = £1 to spend

Should get a steelie free soon with all these releases I have purchased

How the hell do you earn these points. I've bought some stuff off them and never even seen it update

Well, i guess the 'order placed' still being on my steelbook orders for now and not being dispatched might not seem so bad

. Still, it's just the 'triumph' of receiving them early and seeing them all, even if your not gonna watch them

Well, it's not like something you can just pass on. Play.com exclusive steelbooks will now earn you points. Sure, it's crap but meh, it's something!

No it doesn't and I have 31 items totalling £458.70 on pre-order. The time spent to cancel them and re-order them just for £4.59 somehow doesn't seem worth it. I will probably end up cancelling something and forgetting to re-order it

You have missed the point.... It's supposed to be a loyalty reward scheme... giving me a poxy quid back for every £100 i give them does NOT encourage my loyalty...

Zavvi send me a 10% code just about every week, saving me over a quid EVERY purchase...

HMV gave us 20% earlier in the year and saved me a fortune

For approx every 5 Disney movies i buy, i get a FREE one through their reward scheme

THIS is how you develop loyalty

I'm guessing it WILL include pre-orders since point systems like this usually only get points added to your reward account once the purchase is actually paid for.

I suppose its better than nothing but it is certainly one of the less worthwhile schemes

They don't show on the statement and it doesn't say anything to confirm whether this is the case or not on the FAQs

It wasn't generous reward points that led them to going bust. They most likely had some very big and different issues
