Default N8DOGG's Modest Man-Cave

I just wanted to give a big thanks to all that complimented my ideas and hard work. It's funny when you have an idea of something you've always wanted to do and you get so many people liking what you've done, especially on a restricted budget!

I would love to hear some suggestions and, of course, questions and comments!

THANKS AGAIN!!!

Thanks, Phoenix!!!
I meant modest compared to these incredible, jaw-dropping HT's on this site!

Great job! From that first pic I thought you were using a projector setup, the screen is big! I'm thinking of getting the 82" version.

Thank you, Everyone!!! Projectors are nice, but I can't afford one of those. After I bought my 73", I went back and the 82" was on display. I went home, did some measuring, and there was no way it would've fit in that spot. I love it nonetheless!

You're making me remember pretty far back for those! I've had them forever. I wanna say we got them at a Value City Furniture back in 2000. I took the legs off of both of them and the rear is set up 10". They're really starting to fall apart though. I've reinforced the framing twice now.

Exactly what I was thinking. I also love the horror posters. Just looks like an all around fantastic room. Great place to watch a movie or a game.

Now that is One Truly Original and Incredible Home Theater.

I Love the Use of the Different Movie Posters Thru-Out the Room.
And the Incredible Hulk Comics use was amazing.

You really went that extra step that seperates your Home Theater from Most Others.

And the Size of that DLP Rear Projection(73in)Had me thinking I was looking at a Front Projection Unit, with the Sharpness,Clarity, and Contrast.
Excellent Job in All Areas.

I would imagine that the Audio Side of Things holds its own,as well as the Video Does.

You Must Have Put Many an Hour Of Work In to Create Your Theater. And It Was Absolutely Worth Each and Every Second.

Congratulations on having such an amazing Home Theater.

Thank you!!! I'm dying to get the An American Werewolf in London poster framed. It's bus shelter sized and would really look good in between the closets, BUT it's not angled like the opposite wall and may cast a glare. Even with non-glare glass.

Thank you!!! I constantly get complaints from the wife that it's too loud, but that's what I get for not properly insulating the ceiling! I'd say it took a full week. That's working 2-3 hours a day on it. Sadly, as of late, it's been neglected. Having a baby can really tap into your movie time!

Are those actual comics on the doors or some type of reproductions?
