20th Century Fox How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) Blu-ray 3D [Region Locked / Free]

How to Train Your Dragon 2 3D Blu-ray

How to Train Your Dragon 2 3D:

Starts this Friday in theaters, June 13, 2014. (Friday the 13th).

The first one was way better than I had imagined, with a great story and main character friendship with a despised Dragon. It was made for everyone too, not just kids. The 3D was medium to high medium and nicely done.

Looking forward to the sequel this weekend. The trailer's 3D looks promising.

Saw this with my fiancee yesterday and we both really liked it alot. We thought it was a great sequel and that the 3d was fantastic. Dreamworks continues their 3d winning streak and I can't begin to stress how wonderful and immersive the flying sequences in this movie are and in some ways they top the first one.

The story was excellent and well developed considering also that it took 4 years for the sequel to reach theaters. Hiccup is a certified bad*** at this point and its a joy to see his character grow, and Toothless is even more adorable and loveable in this movie and they're were so many background gags involving him that made me laugh so hard. In fact, I felt like this movie had some of the funniest jokes and gags I've seen and heard all year, and they are never out of place and come at the right moments.

Also this movie had a very touching and resonant emotional side that made me shed tears over and over at one point.

Brilliant sequel and must own 3d bluray!!!!

Glad you enjoyed the movie and 3D.

Caught it on Saturday and enjoyed the ending and some of the stories between Hiccup the hero, and Toothless the Night Fury black Dragon (who is the easily the coolest looking dragon in the movie IMO). The imagery was great and the 3D on par with the first movie. Toothless is fun to watch and reminds me of a cat.

For the story, I noticed How To Train Your Dragon 2 put the main villain on the backburner until the 2nd half of the movie, for the sake of telling the story of Hiccup and a lost family member. While I would have preferred the villain made his impact right away to give his presence more impact in the storyline, so a sense of dread/tension could develop early on to peak interest. Otherwise, I can say the crowded theater I was with really loved the movie and the jokes that may have gone over my head. Well made and an interesting sequel. I really like the first movie the best, but this was worth a look, regarding the sequel.

I’m really, really glad I didn’t read your post earlier in this thread before I watched the film last night. Yikes. Unlike my quote above, your post didn’t use a spoiler tag. Not cool.

My girl and I watched this for the first time last night, after having previously watched the first film a couple weeks ago (rewatch for me, first time watch for her, obviously we both loved it!). We thought that it was just as good as the fabulous first film, both storywise and 3-D-wise, and with a different overall feel; surprisingly darker, and more emotionally intense, which we didn’t at all expect. There’s one scene that shocked the hell out of us, and if you haven’t yet seen the film yet, you’ll know which scene I’m talking about when it occurs. I can’t believe the film went there, but it did, and it’s all the better for it. So many sequels are just more of the same but not as good, but this film manages to keep things fresh and unpredictable while bringing back the characters we know and love, and the new characters both human and dragon (including an extremely despicable hissable human villain and two gigantic Kaiju-like dragons) really help raise the emotional stakes. We have yet to watch the third film, but so far, this is an extremely rare case of a film and its sequel both being equally excellent in all ways, and we’re super amped to find out what The Hidden World has in store for us!
