Great news, I was wondering when they would do this. I don't know if I would own all 21 of them, but definitely from GoldenEye and up.

I like the new James Bond movies, but the old ones are not serious at all, which makes me really not like them.

Does anyone know if the BD's from Amazon will include the movie tickets? I ordered the Mummy movies from Amazon that were advertised as having tickets, but they didn't. The product description for the movies on Amazon make no mention of the tickets, so I am a little skeptical about it.

I know the single disks are supposed to have 1 ticket each and that the three packs are supposed to have 2 tickets each. Does anyone know how many, if any, the 6 pack will have?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

You're so young. Bond was all about the sixties.

You need to go back to the beginning:

Dr. No
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
Thunderball

Since I own most of the "Special Edition" DVDs and all 4 "Ultimate Edition" box sets, I will only be getting some of my very favorite Bonds on BD. That would be DR. NO, FRWL, GF, OHMSS, LALD, TSWLM, TLD, LTK, GE, DAD and CR.

Twenty movies, sounds expensive. There are a couple that I don't care for but for the most part I'm all in for Bond.

Yeah. I wouldn't imagine those would be available in any large type of box set. They will most likely spread out the releases so it's not so expensive, maybe release them in volume box sets like the DVD re-releases have been, or maybe 1 a week.

When they came out on DVD (outside ofa handful of releases beforhand) the (at the time 19 movies) were split into 3 6 movie boxes (with room for World is Not ENough)

A similar 4 box pattern will probably ensue, if I were them I'd release one for QoS theatrical, one when QoS comes out on Blu, one more in the Spring, and the complete/4th sets for next Christmas

That's how I bought my original set. Looks like a double dip for me!

These should be no-brainers for Blu-ray release as the remastering that was done for the DVDs was surely also done with Blu-ray in mind and all that should be required is to encode appropriately and author the discs to include the DVD extras.

If I go with the blu-rays when they come out(and I'm sure I will, maybe not right off though),it'll be a triple dip for me.
Bought the original special edition DVDs,and then the ultimate editions last fall.

I think they're as ready as they're ever going to be.

Those SE DVD's that were out a couple of years ago were sourced from 4K Re-Masters that were done at Lowry Digital. And they looked fantastic!

I can only imagine how good they will look in 1080p especially Goldfinger!... PG: "My Name is ***** Galore", JB:"...I must be dreaming!"

I'm not really into these odd mixed sets. I either want the lot, or all by actor, or available individual. I can just see me buying this set, and then getting stuck with it when they release a full set later on
