Super Street Fighter IV (Free with PS+) Download/Install/Play issues? - Blu-ray Forum

Someone mentioned last night that they had issues with downloading this title from the store, because it kept saying they already had it.

I had no problems downloading/installing it but when I went to play it, it installed trophies, and downloaded the update for it, but then it just sits at a black screen. No audio, no nothing. I left it sitting there for a half hour or so and when I came back it was still the same. I hit the PS button to exit from the game like I would if I was playing a game, but it wouldn't play.

I re-downloaded it and installed it and same thing.

Anyone else having issues with this? Should I just not download and install the update for it?

That happens to me once in awhile on my retail games. I just unplug my PS3 when that happens and then it works just fine.

You unplug it as in disable power or take it offline? It's annoying that i still cant download this game.

it finally started working today. Quickly remembered why I hate most fighter games. lol. The only fighter series I still love (despite it's horrifically terrible recent iteration) is Soul Calibur.

So i just made my free space from 22g to 32g and now its downloading. Strange that with all my other games i was getting it would let me download with 1 to 2g of extra space just fine. Crazy that i had to remove 8 games lol. I clearly need a 500g or more drive.

PSN downloads need double their size since the install file isn't deleted until after the download finishes so yeah with the already large size this takes up to get the download to start you need a lot of space.
