New title to me, but I'm really interested in seeing it after reading this topic. Nice to see New Wave Films releasing some more titles

![]() Watched this and loved it! Nice Blu-ray too by the looks of things http://homecinema.thedigitalfix.com/content/id/74394/ Need to look for a good price. Really liked the diector's Koktebel so the good feeling I had for Summer was well founded. Distributor: http://www.newwavefilms.co.uk/view-f...ing=NjE=&cat=2 |

Got this. 1080i. Not sure how/why that might be (it is shot on Red One) but it looks lovely to my eye. Disc review http://homecinema.thedigitalfix.com/content/id/74394/
![]() I think it's locked to B (it's one of those rare discs where my black magic multiregion mojo trick on the USA Sony BDP-S1 doesn't work (as the player locks to "STILL")) but it does have PAL content so you'll need an all-standard player if you're in North America or play it back on any PC of course. ![]() I really like what the Australians have done with their artwork -removing the polar bear actually makes it look more interesting to me. This along with Snowtown and Monsters are my real finds for the year. Great films. |

Out of interest are all copies of this in the slimmer American style Amaray cases ?
I received my copy the other day and it was slimline. Some people don't seem to appreciate the subtlety of the film: http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/2...rlrefer=search Last edited by Marcus Aurelius; 02-12-2013 at 12:24 PM. Reason: Spelling mistake. |
