My favourite performance of his is in Death Becomes Her, because he genuinely tried something different and he was surprisingly good in the role.

12 Monkeys for me. I agree with the above poster who said that he was out of his comfort zone and it worked quite well.

Of course, Moonlighting was a major love of mine at the time. Such a good show.

Die Hard will always be his signature role imo.

Even though the character kind of annoys the hell out of me.

It's like Jimmy Conway who always rooted for the bad guys in the movies. And like Jimmy Conway, Gruber was a stone cold gangster himself. He was all about the dollars.

McClane is my favorite Willis performance as well.

I go with Dr. Malcolm Crowe, mainly because I like it when actors do roles that are out of the blue and they pull it off.
