12 Monkeys for me, he's out of his comfort zone and it works
Die Hard is a close second

Going towards the latter.

Went with Unbreakable, would have said his character in The Sixth Sense but its really Osment's film not his.

My favourite performance of his is in Death Becomes Her, because he genuinely tried something different and he was surprisingly good in the role.

12 Monkeys for me. I agree with the above poster who said that he was out of his comfort zone and it worked quite well.

Of course, Moonlighting was a major love of mine at the time. Such a good show.

Die Hard will always be his signature role imo.

Even though the character kind of annoys the hell out of me.

...I always root for Hans Gruber.

This somehow doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

It's like Jimmy Conway who always rooted for the bad guys in the movies. And like Jimmy Conway, Gruber was a stone cold gangster himself. He was all about the dollars.

McClane is my favorite Willis performance as well.

As David Dunn, in Unbreakable.

He was pretty darn good in Sin City and Looper, too.

It has to be Die Hard, followed by The Last Boy Scout & The Jackal

I go with Dr. Malcolm Crowe, mainly because I like it when actors do roles that are out of the blue and they pull it off.

No space for The Last Boy Scout or Hudson Hawk, but room for something called Over the Hedge!?!

Anyways, I voted for Die Hard.
