As you may or may not know, Warner just released its 90th anniversary slate:
http://www.digitalbits.com/columns/m...12_0100/Page-2 Alot of stuff, yes. But there are still some their catalog titles I want that are not announced. But from this quote in the link: "Obviously there’s always the possibility of additional catalog releases as yet unannounced." So I hope more is planned. So the question is; what other Warner titles do you want to see in 2013? I'll go first: NOTE: Turner-owned (Examples: MGM, Citizen Kane) and New Line titles are acceptable. A box set of compilations or movie series from different companies (Sony, MGM) are acceptable too as long as there is a Warner title(s) in them (like the Mad Max and Terminator sets). -Cats Don't Dance -The Looney, Looney, Looney, Bugs Bunny Movie -Gay Purr-ee -The Poltergeist Trilogy -Beetlejuice 25th Anniversary Edition -Hairspray 25th Anniversary Edition -Creepshow 30th Anniversary Edition -Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III -Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday -Jason X -Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters -Looney Tunes: Back In Action -Sesame Street Presents Follow That Bird -The Powerpuff Girls Movie Might update this later. If you want the Aqua Teen movie... you ought to also hope for/want them to release the last few seasons as well. I forget when they went HD on Adult Swim, but for several seasons now we have gotten DVDs but watched in HD on original airing.

The following is a list of Warner widescreen movies starting from the mid 1950s onwards that Warner may consider worthwhile to release on Blu-Ray as part of their 90th Anniversary:-
The High and the Mighty (1954) Mister Roberts 1955 The Spirit of St. Louis (1957) Gypsy (1962) Cheyenne Autumn (1964) The Great Race (1965) Firecreek (1968) Finian's Rainbow (1968) Chisum (1970) The Train Robbers (1973) Mame (1974) Capricorn One (1978) Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984) Fandango (1985) The Clan of the Cave Bear (1986) |

- Ace Ventura. Hopefully in a double pack.
- The Right Stuff. Was confirmed in their 2013 press release. - Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Seeing as they are starting to release the older DC animated titles, this one has a chance. Plus it'll be the film's 20th Anniversary, perfect reason. - Once Upon a Time in America. They recently found a wealth of lost footage for it, would be nice to see it soon. - Little Giants. Childhood favorite of mine, plus the DVD is OOP. - Without Limits. Probably won't happen for a while, but the Warner Archives program can make it possible. |
