Default DVDs that are going to blu-Ray

As in the 1st thread Blu ray movies coming soon, I think there should be a thread about dvds that are coming out now that are going to blu-ray.

Because I am very confused and I dont want to waste money any more.

For instance I loved the movie V for Vendetta, Its out on dvd and not on blu-ray, Is it coming to blu-ray soon ever not at all. This is one example.

A thread Like this would really help. What about the ultimates 2 movie that is mastered in HD, is that coming to blu-ray the day I buy it on dvd so I waste my money.

Its too confusing. Any help would be great.

Feel free to take down this thread to make a better one with the same information.

So since v for vendetta is not on the list I can get it on dvd with out have to then re buy it at the end of the year.

Xmen or spiderman is not even on the list.

I think that a list of current dvds coming out and then on the side telling weather its coming to bluray never coming or out already would be great.

well or you can just check that list weekly to see what new BD releases are comming, honestly if your considering an HD format, Netflix would be a good chocie for DVD renting going forward, rather than buying.

I'd be all for a thread which would list those movies which are coming to BD but have not yet been given street dates. Who wants to start it and then maintain it?

I know it sounds stupid but all I want to know is the is if its possible to say MAYBE. I use V as an example because its easy. Its made by warner and they are said to be on blu-ray so shouldnt that be coming? All I want to know is if it might be coming So i dont buy it on dvd.

And net flix I wont do because the little mom and pop dvd rental store has all new movies for 3 dollars and you get them 4 days.

I just dont want to buy a movie Like V and then christmas rolls around and its announced for the new year.

and Believe me I think the blu-ray company or sony or warner know if there is a chance a slight chance.

Then on some movies its even eaiser to do like a bourne supremacy Cant and Wont.

Any movie could be coming to blu-ray if its not announced and we haven't see any idication that it'll be on blu-ray. At least any thats not owned by Universal. So really anything is possible we just don't know. Rent for now if your really worried about it.

I would expect Spiderman 1 & 2 to arrive on BD in time for the third movie next spring.

Yeah a special release right before the movie would make a world of sense.
