Ordered this back in June during a 50% off sale. Got a shipping notice early this morning! Can't wait to rewatch. Great movie.

Rented this from Redbox. It's a bit stilted, more "good for you" than actually good, but the ending is still quite moving.

I watched it last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a wonderful period piece with great acting all around, beautiful costumes and sets and cinematography, a haunting score, and an uplifting moral message to boot. Also, Gugu and Sarah Gadon were gorgeous.

Yesssssss, she is! Breathtaking beauty, and an amazing talent. Just saw in her Beyond the Lights. Hottest performance of the year.

Ann Hornaday in the Washington Post gave it a good review, and I trust her opinions. I'll check it out. Thanks for the recommendation.
