Can anybody help me out?

I'd like to get the French Version of the film, because I prefer the cover, but is it a title that has forced French subtitles when you play the original English track?

I watched this last night. Not only was I disappointed that it wasn't the uncensored version that has Mr Blond cutting the cops ear off (my dvd digi pack had this version) but I felt the picture was slightly squashed.
Does anyone else think this. It's definitely not my set up.

Yes, we do think it's you, with your magical DVD, containing something that doesn't exist.

Considering how long this disc has been out, don't you think someone would have clicked on, that it was cut?

The cutting of the cops ear has always NOT been shown, but the camera pans away....don't know why you think it was cut

maybe getting mixed up with the dvd extra that shows alternate takes of the ear cutting scene

You know what guys it could just be that I watched the D/S after viewing the feature which was about 5 years ago and my brain just added it in in my memory of it.
Is there definitely now way of watching the dvd version branching off to one of the deleted scenes? I'm pretty sure I sold my digipack dvd otherwise I would check myself.
Non of you feel the bluray picture is very slightly squashed then?

Depending on the DVD and BD release the framing seems almost identical.

Zavvi have a limited edition steelbook of this on pre-order, i hope thats not the final artwork as i dont like it much.
