Sadly, that disinformation & rumor will persist long afterwards for the same reason slanders get front page in papers but retractions get put in the back: Lies are exciting and move people but people have to move to see the truth. It's rampant sloth.

I have one Kmart close to me here in PA.I was in there the other day and walked around in there so called electronics section.
I saw some PS3 units locked away with the games and son on, i was even more suprise to see they had about 20 or bd movies in stock.

Now, as a retailer your are selling the hardware you sell the software, logical bussiness decision.
I couldn't find a HD-DVD movie anyware in the store, no one to benifit from this mess with Toshiba at all.

I can't imagine anyone that would buy that type of equipment in KMart. I can't even find a decent computer desk at KMart let alone a piece of equipment.

If they sell the PS3 then it was pretty much debunked...but the stores will only sell one standalone for now, the A2.
