Default Biggest 3D Blu Collection w/ non-3D setup

I was wondering how many others collect 3D Blu-ray titles without having a set-up to actually enjoy them on. So far I have 33 titles (not counting ones I have pre-ordered). I have yet to see any of my own purchases on a 3D set-up at all. How about you?

Why? If you care that much shouldn't you have bought the TV already?

This thread seems to be polar opposite of "3D is dead"

Some people collects stamps. That doesn't mean they're sending letters every day

I try to buy the 3D / 2D BD / DVD combo packs. I don't (yet) have a 3D display, but will once my current TV dies. Also, I don't have a BD player for the car.

Default I need clarification!!!

So if you don't have a 3d setup, but plan on getting one in the next couple of years, should I buy 3d blus? Or do you have to have a 3d setup in order to watch the movies? I huess I'm asking if you currently don't have a 3d set up would a 3d blu ray still be playable?

I don't have a 3D TV myself but I can watch the 3D discs in 2D. No need for a combo 3D/2D pack.

Also got my Sky+ set to record nearly everything on the 3D Channel lol!

I was not a believer til I got it and sat through a full 3d movie...

I had about 15 3DBDs and a 3DBD Player for over a year before I finally got a 3DTV two weeks ago. The reason for this is because I fully support the 3D format but wasn't ready to get the TV just yet. The time was right to finally get the TV once my new library/theater was finished being built. So I think as long as you eventually plan on getting a 3D setup one day when the time is right for you, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with building up your 3D collection in the meantime.

Currently I'm @ 37 or so without a 3D TV. Eventually, I'll pick one up. No hurry. I did the same thing going from DVD to Bluray back in the BD Vs HD-DVD wars.
