I rented "Oldboy" on last night on Blu (11/04/07), but I see here that it's supposed to be released 11/06/07... Anyway, it's a good movie. I was just surprised that I was able to rent it two days early.

This is new to me. Are you telling me that you have to flip an HD DUD disc to get a second side on the disk?! I thought it was just a second layer on the disc they used to get more space on it.

This Korean movie, from my understanding, is about a man that suddenly gets kidnapped and trapped in a torture room for sometime (20 years I think). He suddenly gets released. He goes on a quest for vengance and try's to find out why he was tortured and held in the first place. Lots of torture in this film. It is not for the feint of heart.

It's a joke poking fun at the format... because it has limited space... like old Tapes, VHS or Laser Disc media that did not have enough room so you had to swap them out for the new tape or flip them over for side B.

You are correct though. It is a dual layer disc so no "flipping" is involved.
