United Kingdom THE SHIPPING NEWS - Studio Canal/ Miramax

Got my copy yesterday and like RIPLEY it's not looking good. Couldn't find any reviews online so it was a blind buy for me but I am beginning to lose faith in that company.

The cover states 1080p but it didn't look like that. The picture doesn't show much detail for the most part and colours look pretty muddy which is a shame considering the great scenery in the movie.

'The Shipping News' is due to be re-released by Lions Gate on June 17th 2015. Does anyone know whether this will be a new (hopefully improved) transfer or just a re-packaging of the same one again?
