Germany Quality of Ascot Elite transfers

Hi,

I imported Rules of Engagement to the US and the pq is garbage. Do all of Ascot Elite blu-ray's suffer from a poor image? I would like to import The Champ but see that it's an Ascot release.

Thanks,
Tom

Rules of Engagement is a terrible transfer. The Paramount dvd is way better. Fortunately some of their releases are pretty good like Crawlspace.
The Gift however is another one of theirs to avoid ( but there is the Scanbox release of this title from Norway/Denmark/Sweden which is excellent).

Pays to read as many reviews as possible before importing discs.

Ascot Elite are just the distributor for Planet Media on Rules of Engagement. Their own releases are usually pretty good quality wise.

Take Shelter from Ascot Elite has horrible compression artefacts in some scenes.
