Warner keeps releasing other film studio product but fails to mine their own WB catalog or license out.
Fox has released/licensed over 90 FOX films pre-1970 on blu-ray WB has released less than 35 Warner Bros made films pre-1970 WB keeps making deals with Goldwyn, Paramount plus they own the rights to RKO and MGM films - but they have too much and will never get around to releasing most of it. There is only so much WB can release ----so why do they keep buying up the market when then can't release in that quantity??? I can only think they want to corner the download market if and when that day should arrive where Blu-ray dies out |

This is probably true of Fox, but the MGM films that Warner releases are owned outright by Warner. Warner currently owns all MGM films produced through the beginning of 1986. Ted Turner bought MGM in 1986, and then sold it back, minus it's film library. |

Yes, The TRUE MGM films like The Wizard of Oz are owned by WB/Turner. |
