Thanks for the reply, that's what I thought, but this isn't going to be a steelbook is it? From what I understand it's a metalpak style case with a digipak inside!

I just got the 2D disc for review purposes, it's BD-25 with the film and the bonuses on it, apparently not one eye of the 3D version as per the US disc. I just browsed a bit through the movie and the contrasts appears better, with an image more film like.
Can't wait to compare. |

My guess is that Dredd 3D might follow this trend, but again, I'm only assuming and don't want people to be mistaken there, since indeed, artwork looks like a metalpak. |

Got the DVD with it, yes, the full package is either DVD, 2D Blu or combo including those with the 3D version. Last edited by Daredevil666; 01-29-2013 at 03:51 PM. |

Here's a comparison, it appears the french Blu have more picture info on the sides?!
http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/5010 Here's another one. They don't match exactly because whomever did the US Blu captures didn't rip the correct eye. http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/5014 As you can see thought from the close up above, the Lionsgate Blu seems to be overblown and some of the details on the nose of the beautiful Judge Anderson are missing, whereas they are there on the Metropolitan Blu. It appears the Metropolitan version is a WIN. I find the Lionsgate appearing too bright, making the film looks almost too cartoony, whereas the Metropolitan version is more balanced, making the movie look more realistic.
