My Movies App for Apple - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys I have My Movies app for Apple and I just read they are updated their app to version 2 but it will be a new app and we will have to pay for it!!!

I am not very happy about this and dont understand why they are doing it. What they say "it is not possible to have an upgrade price for major new versions in the app store, and it is simply not possible to continue to deliver a quality service if we are to deliver eternal free updates"

WHAT!!!! upgrade price?

Why should people put time and effort into improving the features and functionality of their Apps and keep giving them away for nothing? You do not need to upgrade to Version 2, the old one will keep functioning fine.

Every app I bought besides this one, I never had to rebuy again because they upgraded the app

then don't buy the new one. no one is forcing you to buy it.

as was said, the first one will continue to function so just keep using that one.
