Default Hell's Kitchen: Season 12

Is it just me or did this kinda just "start" with minimal, if any promos? I only saw it on tonight because I was flipping through my guide and happened to catch it. Watching the West Coast feed of it now, but just found it odd... I don't watch a lot of FOX, but I watch a good 3 hours on Sundays for Animation Domination and haven't seen a promo for it...

[Show spoiler]I wish they would really reduce the beyond stupid people before first service... this is painful

Forgot this was back. I have a love/hate relationship with this show. More of a frustrating love I suppose. Season one is still the best.

you'd think by the 12th season, people would practice every dishes and make sure to get the timing right but no! it's like the producers went out and got the most stupid of the stupids

I worked in Post Production for this season, as well as Seasons 9 & 10. Believe me, we say the same thing. It's unbelievable that people still don't seem to understand that they'll be expected to cook Risotto and a few other dishes. Practice up, people.

I swear they deliberately put people with no business in a kitchen out there for at least half the season.... but I tell my gf and a guy at work (who's other job is in "the industry" ... how bloody hard can it be too cook a bloody scallop? Oil, Hot Pan, Sear each side until golden brown, which shouldn't take that long.. minutes at most...

Then there's ones from other seasons that felt the need to cook like 20 of something in advance ... eugh....
